On January 16, 2025, PalFish and Zhixiang Overseas jointly held the Southeast Asian Education Technology Opportunities Symposium in Shenzhen. The event brought together nearly 20 corporate representatives including BONDOT, a major online and offline marketing platform.
At the same time, members of PalFish's country offices in China, Thailand, Vietnam, Malaysia also gathered in Shenzhen to share the decision-making logic from online to offline business, combined with localized cases, and fully discussed the new challenges and solutions of education overseas.

On the event, Li Xiao, head of PalFish's international business, as a veteran in the education overseas market, shared his views on K-12 education over the years with the audience and made an in-depth analysis of the offline opportunities in Southeast Asian education.
He said, "Online education and training competition is becoming increasingly fierce, and offline stores are more in line with the consumption preferences of local users, while the return on investment is also getting higher and higher. The growth of online business is relatively stable, and the development of offline stores is a new breakthrough point."

After PalFish’s international case sharing session, the event also invited guests from various institutions to discuss in a roundtable format the new opportunities for education overseas and the local business environment that people are currently concerned about.

John, CEO of BONDOT, an e-commerce platform company from the United States, combined his nearly 20 years of experience living in Asia and other places to share his observations on the development of Chinese companies going overseas in the process of localizing their international business, and analyzed the impact of politics, religion, economic development, and social culture on the risks of companies going overseas.

Dr. Yu Liuqing, a scholar at the National University of Singapore and former analyst at the Economist Intelligence Unit, combined his years of field research in Southeast Asian countries to share his analysis of the current business opportunities and challenges for Chinese companies going overseas.

PalFish Thailand Business Manager Kang Zhichong shared how to achieve offline business breakthroughs and optimize offline stores’ location choice.
The Q&A session was lively and exciting. Through the sharing of vivid overseas cases and personal experiences, everyone realized the significance of education overseas. Free discussion was held after the meeting.
